ISEE Test Prep

The ISEE tests reading comprehension, writing, and mathematical skills. In order to score well on the test, a student needs both strong academic and test taking skills. At New York Academics, we carefully evaluate each student and tailor ISEE test prep lessons to meet the specific needs of the individual.

Our approach to preparing students for the ISEE has three prongs:

First, we addresses any academic weaknesses that may exist (i.e., insufficient vocabulary, confusion about multiplying fractions, etc.);
Second, we instruct students in test-taking methods that work;
Finally, we make sure that students get enough practice to master their skills.

ISEE test prep can be very important because the ISEE is often the first high-stakes test that a young person takes, and it can become a very stressful situation for many students. At New York Academics, we believe that thorough, sane preparation leads to both high scores and calm test-takers.
